• •Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and improvements.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• •Show you meals from restaurants near your current location
• •Filter and sort meals based on your preferences
• •Save your matched meals and sync them across devices
• •Suppress already-swiped meals from your feed
• •Improve our app and develop new features

• •Firebase (Google): For user authentication, data storage, and crash reporting
• •MenuMasters API: For restaurant and meal data including photos, prices, and menu information

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Filter preferences and swipe history are cached locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud servers (Firebase/Firestore) when you sign in. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You can request deletion of your data at any time through the app's settings or by contacting us at hello@bitepickapp.com. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

BitePick is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
